SUPER STOUT 2024 Has More Stouts Than You Can Handle!

The annual River North SUPER STOUT party returns this Saturday! SUPER STOUT will be bigger than ever, with 12 stouts on tap at the Washington Street taproom and a half-dozen on tap at the Blake Street taproom. During this stout tap takeover, you’ll find some of our favorites such as Nightmare Fuel, Mr. Sandman, and even the ultra-rare Barrel Aged Zero Over Zero, a collaboration with Burns Family Artisan Ales from 2020. We’ll have everything from the highest ABV stout in our cellar to our lower ABV Stout and About, an easy-drinking foreign export style stout, for those who want to take a break from our typical barrel-aged monstrosities.

The event will also feature the first release of Bourbon Barrel Aged Yet Another Stout, our illustrious British-style imperial stout. The beer rested for 12 months in Laws Bourbon barrels, before making its way into bottles and kegs this week. The beer is not to be missed – just a bit more nuanced and elegant than an American imperial stout. Clocking in at 11.9% ABV, The beer has a balanced roasty character and bitterness to let the true character of the barrel shine through. The beer will be on tap at both taprooms for the event. Bottles will be on sale for $12 each.

It’s no secret that we love to brew stouts of all shapes and sizes. There will be no shortage for SUPER STOUT this Saturday. Both taprooms will have food trucks on-site to help soak up these delicious, roasty brews.
