Imperial Stout Aged on Peppercorns Release: October 3rd

We've teamed up with Beer Attorney again! Legalese: an imperial stout aged on peppercorns will be releasing Saturday, October 3rd to kick off the cooler months. This stout will be on tap and in 375ml bottles giving you the ability to enjoy Legalese while in the taproom and to take some home with you.

When you think of peppercorns, do you imagine them to be something you would put into an imperial stout? Well, we took our imperial stout and aged it on peppercorns for a satisfying 12.5% ABV imperial stout that is sure to be a great one for those bonfire nights or a night in watching your favorite movie. It might not seem like a perfect combination but it turns out that the addition of peppercorns to this big, bold imperial stout balances out. With a hint of dark roasted coffee on the nose, you’ll get a dry pepper flavor without the spiciness. It’s subtle, yet bitter.

We're on track with releasing a new beer every Saturday, typically at both taprooms, varying from stouts, IPAs and other upcoming brews that will be perfect for the cooler season. Saturday’s you can find rotating food trucks at Blake Street and both taprooms are dog friendly (patio only at Blake Street!).
