Barrel Aged Extravaganza - full taplist!
With the longest winter in recent memory finally behind us, it’s time to celebrate! Our annual sendoff to snow features the best of our barrel-aged cellar. On Saturday, June 8th, we will have ALL of the following on tap side-by-side when we open at Noon.
In addition, all kegs will be available for Crowler fills ($24 - $36 depending on the beer), with no limit while supplies last! Our friends from Big G’s BBQ will also join us will plenty of delicious smoked meats to pair with these dozen barrel-aged brews.
Without further ado, the 2019 Barrel Aged Extravaganza features:
2016 Barrel Aged Avarice – 11.5% ABV
Belgian-style imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels. One of only two kegs left in existence, Barrel Aged Avarice is known for is extreme roast and dry finish.
2017 Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman – 13.2% ABV
American imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels. One of our most sought after brews, a full, rich house favorite.
2017 Rum Barrel Quandary *LAST KEG* - 10.9% ABV
Our Belgian-style quadrupel aged in Caribbean dark rum casks. Like a rum raisin cookie for adults.
2017 Vicennial: Barrel Aged God Complex – 17.6% ABV
Uberquad aged in bourbon barrels, with only one vintage released to date. An infallible ale for the daftest of monks.
2017 Vicennial: Barrel Aged Shadowman – 15.7% ABV
Superstout aged in rye and bourbon barrels, with only one vintage released to date. A block-out-the-sun-style brew.
2017 Vicennial: Barrel Aged Father Time – 16.0% ABV
Mega old ale built to withstand the test of time, aged in whiskey barrels. A dapper brew with gallant notes of toffee and caramel.
2018 Mr. Sandman XO *LAST KEG* - 13.1% ABV
Our American imperial stout aged 21 months in Utah rye whiskey barrels. Barrel-forward in the best way possible.
2018 Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman – 13.2% ABV
The latest vintage of our American imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels. Try side-by-side with the 2017 version!
2018 Barrel Aged Avarice – 11.1 % ABV
The latest vintage of our Belgian-style imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels. Try side-by-side with the 2016 version!
2018 Rum Barrel Mr. Sandman – 12.9% ABV
American imperial stout aged in Caribbean dark rum casks. Oak forward with a pleasantly sweet kiss of molasses on the finish.
2019 Single Cask Mr. Sandman: Gin Barrel *LAST KEG* - 12.7% ABV
American imperial stout aged in a sole gin barrel, selected for its superior quality. Herbaceous and earthy with a botanical finish.
2019 Whiskey Barrel Quandary – 10.9% ABV
One of our longest running barrel-aged beers, this bourbon-aged quadrupel has been a staple of the barrel program since 2012.
